Vice President / Director of Interactive – Brewmaster

Donovan has no relation to the acclaimed news anchor. In fact, their last names aren’t even spelled the same (Walter’s is missing an H). However, you might not realize that given his professional demeanor, though something tells us that’s just a ploy.

Donovan is a homegrown Jackson County native. He is a graduate of Michigan Technological University, earning a B.A. in Scientific and Technical Communication. Donovan has been meticulously writing, inspecting and editing thousands of lines of code while refining his palette for finely crafted beer since 1997. We chained him to a computer and hired him on as our full-time webmaster and designer in 2001, where he tenaciously earned his positions as Vice President and Director of Interactive.

With Google News alerts, RSS feeds and Twitter apps fronting a constant assault on his computer, Donovan is always tuned into “what’s next” across the digital landscape, and in the world of microbrews.
