RJM is looking to hire a graphic designer that will work with a team of graphic design, web developer, copywriter and account executives to create a variety of materials including print advertising, outdoor, magazine publications, direct mail, collateral, video, websites, digital advertising, and more. The position is responsible for translating client goals and objectives into a design that accomplishes them across a variety of media.
The ideal candidate for this position will feel comfortable managing design projects from conception to production, translating brand standards and guidelines to various media and executions. This is an entry to intermediate level position that requires a solid foundation in design fundamentals and production requirements with a willingness and desire to continue education in the field.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated and organization individual with 1 - 3 years industry experience with the ability to work independently on designs while being open to feedback from both the agency and client side. An attention to detail is needed to ensure all brand guidelines are followed. Candidates showcasing the following skills and expertise will be considered for the position:
- Portfolio with proven graphic design work in both print and digital formats (either college or professional work)
- Proven knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Can show an understanding and ability to apply knowledge of the fundamentals of typography, color schemes, and page layout
- Understanding of the differences between print and digital design specifications
- Proven experience or knowledge of prepress requirements and procedures
- Ability to adapt design style to different brands

Beyond the required qualifications for this position, RJM is looking for a candidate that brings an additional focus to our team. We are not expecting that a candidate will bring all of the following skills, but should indicate that they possess at least one with the desire to learn others. The following list of desired qualifications are possible additional skills that you may bring to our team:
- Video filming / editing (portfolio requested)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premier and After Effects
- HTML/CSS/JS coding (portfolio requested)
- Experience with Wordpress and Elementor
- Experience with digital platforms such as Bannersnack, BlueToad, and Unbounce
- Photography using both studio and natural lighting (portfolio requested)
